We’re excited to see JetBlue is introducing its new premium cabin offering, Mint®, to 7 city pairs:
- New York – Las Vegas,
- New York – San Diego,
- Boston – San Diego,
- Boston – Seattle,
- Los Angeles – Fort Lauderdale, and
- San Francisco – Fort Lauderdale.
The JetBlue Mint experience – like being at home.
JetBlue’s Mint® experience is positioned to impress even the most savvy traveler – it begins from the minute you arrive with a dedicated check-in and early boarding, offering an expedited embarkation experience. Once you have settled into your premium Mint ”suite,” you notice the super comfy, extra wide and long flat bedded seats – the biggest in the premium domestic market (up to 6’ 8”). We were impressed by the air cushions with adjustable firmness and massage features. Each traveler gets a coat hook, at least two AC and USB power outlets and “wake me for service” indicators to ensure a restful flight. Additionally, 100 channels of entertainment and radio are provided via a state-of-the-art 15” widescreen monitor.
The Mint ”suite” is quite spacious on each side of the aisle and even has its own door for privacy. Also included is their special Internet service call Fly-Fi®, JetBlue’s own broadband – free to Mint customers to surf the web in the sky. And then there’s the food! Delicious freshly prepared small bites provided by renowned New York restaurant Saxon + Parole, plus artisanal snacks straight from Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery, A Colicchio Discovery, and Blue Marble ice cream! Premium wine service, drinks from Brooklyn Roasting Company, and signature refreshments are all part of the complimentary beverage experience.
JetBlue’s premium experience doesn’t end when you leave the plane – the final feature (and arguably the best) is the preferred baggage claim. Be the first to collect your bags at the carousel when your journey is over. To achieve these expanded offerings, Jet Blue will add nine A321s equipped with Mint to its fleet in 2017, with additional deliveries planed in 2018.
