JTB USA Business Travel is proud to announce the successful launch of our new Trip Disruption Assistance Program.
Winter storm Jonas was quickly bearing down on the East Coast and wreaking havoc on travelers across the globe. JTB’s customers had a very different travel experience, our proactive approach gave our preferred travelers advanced notice of the storms impending impact. The January storm hit without mercy, shutting down airports on the east coast, leaving people stranded, travel was banned for safety, the impact resonated throughout the world with OVER 21,000 FLIGHTS AFFECTED.
Dedicated travel consultants from New York to Los Angeles provided “first rate assistance” late into the night on Friday, extending hours into Saturday and Sunday. Earlier in the week travelers and travel managers were notified of the impending storm’s effect on travel. JTB recommended avoiding traveling in the effected region as much as possible. Preferred travelers received quick personalized support directly from JTB’s dedicated travel consultants. JTB’s Preferred Travelers did not need to contact the after-hours service, which reportedly had delays extending over 2 hours on Sunday. Navigating one’s way through travel, even in the best of weather, may present challenges; JTB rose to the occasion.
Resounding Praise for JTB’s service, going above and beyond the call of duty, monitoring and ensuring complete satisfaction.
Ken, Vice President, Sharp Electronics Corporation said “I finally and safely got home last night thanks to your teams assistance… Your service was excellent even during the weekend. Trip Disruption Assistance is truly a nice system and I believe your service will be much appreciated by all!”
